GLIMMERGLASS SIGNS RESELLER AGREEMENT WITH MICOS FOR EASTERN EUROPEAN MARKET
Hayward, CA.– Sept. 23, 2008 – Glimmerglass, leading provider of Intelligent Optical Switches, today announced a reseller agreement with leading Eastern European distributor Micos, in which Micos will market and sell Glimmerglass switches to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Turkey. Under the terms of the agreement, Micos will sell Glimmerglass Intelligent Optical Switches ranging from 24 to 190 ports, as well as the Glimmerglass Console, a server-based product offering centralized management for complex, multi-switch environments, in this region. “Eastern European companies are facing the dual challenges of rapidly growing infrastructure requirements and budget restraints,” said Micos Chairman Svatoslav Novak. “Fiber is the obvious solution based on its cost to bandwidth advantages.
